Charge card

You will most likely have one or more payment cards linked to your company. The type of card you have affects the accounting - it’s a good idea to be aware of the difference.

Debit card

A debit card is linked directly to your bank account and all purchases you make are deducted directly from your account. This is the most common card type and the easiest to manage.

Credit card

With a credit card, you always shop on credit and you have a limit on how much you can shop for before you have to pay it off.

When you shop with a credit card, this will not appear on your bank accounts, only the issuer of the card will see your purchases. This complicates accounting because Voitto can neither see nor record your purchases until much later when you receive a specification from the credit card issuer.

Credit card from Entercard

For credit cards issued by Entercard, we have an integration. You connect your account with Entercard to Voitto and in this way we find out about all purchases directly, we basically handle it like a normal bank account. This makes handling simple and smooth and we do not charge extra for this.

Other credit cards

If you have a credit card issued by someone other than Entercard, handling becomes more difficult and is therefore something that we only offer as an extra service where you pay a cost per month and card you have.

Immediately when you receive your invoice from the company that issued the credit card, which must contain a specification of all transactions that took place on the card, you upload this to us. We then go through all the transactions on the card and book them on the basis that you have also uploaded the actual documents for the transactions.
