F tax
Last updated: 2021-06-21
F-tax stands for Business Tax and is something that those who run a business can apply to be registered for. Being registered for F-tax means a responsibility to pay taxes and fees.
F-tax can be contrasted with A-tax, which means that it is an employer who pays the tax. The F-tax is slightly lower than the A-tax, which means that those with F-tax get to keep most of their salary. Another advantage is that those with F tax get the right to deduct costs that are linked to the company.
In order for the person who hires you to be sure that he does not have to deduct and pay taxes and fees, you should inform them that you are approved for F-tax, the easiest way to do this is to print this on the invoice.
Anyone who runs any form of business, for example in the form of a sole proprietorship or limited liability company, can apply to the Tax Agency to be registered for F-tax.
