SIE file

SIE stands for Standard Import and Export. The SIE file is a standardized format for moving financial information, for example between different accounting programs or different people.

There are different types of SIE formats with different contents. Read more from the SIE group about the different formats.

At Voitto, we use the SIE4 format. Such a file contains, for example, the chart of accounts and previous verifications. On the other hand, it does not contain any supporting material to substantiate the accounting entries.
