Syncing of bank accounts

Synchronizing your bank accounts means that you give Voitto permission to retrieve events on your bank accounts automatically. It also allows us to connect vouchers with actual events on your bank account. What happens when you choose to sync your bank accounts is that we connect to your bank where you log in with BankID, after you have done this we download all bank transactions that have taken place on your accounts since the last time you synced.

When should you sync your bank accounts?

The more bank transactions you have in your accounts, the more often you should sync. If you don’t sync for a week, we’ll create a task asking you to sync your accounts.

Since Voitto always reconciles whole months, it is good to get in the habit of always going in and syncing your accounts after a new month. Then we know that we have all transactions that took place during the month and that we see your account balance at the end of the month.
